Jared Harél is the author of Go Because I Love You (Diode Editions, 2018) and The Body Double (Brooklyn Arts Press, 2012). He’s been awarded the ‘Stanley Kunitz Memorial Prize’ from American Poetry Review, and the ‘William Matthews Poetry Prize’ from Asheville Poetry Review. His poems have appeared in such journals as Tin House, The Threepenny Review, The Southern Review and Poetry Daily. Harél teaches writing at Nassau Community College, plays drums for Flyin’ J & The Ghostbrobber, and lives in Queens, NY with his wife and two kids. www.jaredharel.com

 

 

Safia Jama is a Cave Canem graduate fellow, born to a Somali father and an Irish-American mother in Queens, New York. Her poetry appears in RHINO, BOMB, Boston Review, and Muftah Magazine. Her manuscript was a semi-finalist in the Pleiades Press Editors Prize for Poetry.

Hannah Lillith Assadi received her MFA in fiction from the Columbia University School of the Arts. She was raised in Arizona and lives in Brooklyn. Her work has appeared in LitHub, Epiphany, and other publications. Her first novel Sonora (Soho 2017) is a finalist for the PEN/ Robert W. Bingham Prize for debut fiction. 

 

 

Dan Sheehan is an Irish fiction writer, journalist, and editor. His writing has appeared in The Irish Times, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Guernica, TriQuarterly, Words Without Borders, and Electric Literature, among others. He lives in New York, where he is the Book Marks editor at Literary Hub and a contributing editor at Guernica Magazine, and was a recipient of the 2016 Center for Fiction Emerging Writers Fellowship. His debut novel, Restless Souls, will be published by Ig Publishing in April. @danpjsheehan
